Transplant Manitoba participates in living donor paired exchange chain for the first time
Two living donor chains took place over three days in February at hospitals in five different provinces, including Manitoba for the first time. Many of the recipients had already been waiting for a deceased donor for years and all were potentially facing many more years on the waitlist and requiring dialysis.
