Pillows provide comfort, care
Transplant Manitoba – Gift of Life is pleased to be able to provide handcrafted kidney-shaped pillows to all kidney transplant patients and living kidney donors.
Transplant recipients and donors will receive this small gift free of charge to help with breathing exercises after surgery.
To support Transplant Manitoba – Gift of Life’s efforts to share information about organ donation and transplantation, these distinctive blue and green plush feel pillows are also available for purchase. For $10, you can get your own pillow or buy one for a friend! All proceeds from the pillows go towards the program’s education and public outreach efforts.
Pillows will be available in HSC Winnipeg’s William Avenue Mall (700 William Ave. entrance) on Thursday, Dec. 10 and Thursday, Dec. 17 from 10 am – 2 pm. Cash only please.
The pillows are generously made and carefully packaged by MTS Volunteers and the work is supported by the kidney transplant program.
